You should be able to check a number and understand its limits. Here’s how the site handles sources and corrections.
Source facts and calculations
Data pages use public records and calculations you can check. Guides link to the official material they discuss. A date gap alone can’t establish a WARN violation, and a survey estimate can’t predict your own pay or finances.
Dates matter
Wage and wealth estimates describe a particular period. Layoff records can arrive late or change later. Check the dates beside a figure before comparing it with a current offer or announcement.
Corrections
A useful correction points to the source, calculation or sentence that needs attention. Saved source versions make it possible to compare changes. Each monthly report keeps the records behind its totals so you can check an older result.
